An intimate setting for a culinary journey with Mediterranean flavors  

It is at the Auberge À la Bonne Idée in the small village of Saint-Jean-aux-Bois (Oise), at the gates of the forest of Compiègne, that chef Sébastien Tantot allows his culinary art to express itself. The gastronomic restaurant, which has one star in the Michelin guide and five A’s in the Atabula guide, welcomes you in a charming setting with an unobstructed view of the country and bucolic park of the inn, for an exceptional meal. The tasting menu changes with the seasons, putting the vegetable and fish cuisine in the spotlight, thus making the Mediterranean air blow to the doors of the famous medieval castle of Pierrefonds.
